Explore the 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue, the first great house of worship by Eastern European Jewish immigrants in the United States. Lunch will be enjoyed on your own at Essex Market. Built in 1940 the original building was one of four markets built to house the pushcarts of the Lower East Side. Finally, enjoy the exhibition of “Anne Frank’ with an audio tour. Anne Frank The Exhibition includes a first-of-its-kind, full-scale recreation of the complete Annex, furnished as it would have been when Anne and her family were forced into hiding.
