Boston, Gloucester, Rockport Featuring Crane Estate and Boston Harbor Dinner Cruise, Mansion Tour and Tea 

Journey with us to Boston for a great Seacoast Tour. Day one you will check into the Encore Harbor Hotel with casino, pool, restaurants and more.  Dinner on your own with included voucher. Day 2. Your day will begin with a tour of CASTLE HILL the CRANE ESTATE MANSION.   “Experience the grandeur of a seaside estate, its marvelously landscaped grounds, restored Grand Allée, gardens, and Casino complex. Accessibility: The Grand Stair has 30 steps. We’re sorry, but there is no elevator. There will be a digital picture display of second floor museum rooms for guests unable to climb the stairs.” Formal Flowers will take you on a detailed journey into the Italian and Rose Gardens that were designed and planted in the Crane’s day, and how the gardens were re-imagined in 2016 and 2020. Tours include information on the current plantings with emphasis on those that are in bloom at the time of your tour. Accessibility: This tour is an outdoor walking tour and utilizes stairs to access the garden spaces. The full tour is not accessible to those with mobility issues. Voice amplification will be used.” 

LUNCH is included today at a local restaurant. Tour through the seaside towns of GLOUCESTER and ROCKPORT. Rockport is the town where The Proposal, starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynold’s, was filmed. This town was used as Sitka, Alaska in the film. Gloucester is homeport to many of the boats in the National Geographic series Wicked Tuna. Gloucester was also made famous by the feature film A Perfect Storm starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg.  Free time in ROCKPORT designated by Walt Disney as one of the most picturesque towns in America, famous for its art colony located on Bearskin Neck. The neck is has a quaint collection of seaside shops on an promontory which juts out into the harbor. DINNER ON YOUR OWN AT THE ENCORE. Use one of your vouchers towards this meal. Day 3 BREAKFAST included at the Encore. Use one of your vouchers towards this meal. MEET YOUR GUIDE FOR A DAY OF TOURING. BOSTON TEA PARTY SHIPS & MUSEUM. You will have a personal “colonial character” guide. The museum features full-scale replicas, artifacts and interactive elements. Meet “Sam Adams” and participate in the re-enactment of the destruction of the tea. Board a tall ship and marvel at one of only two known surviving tea crates. (On this tour you start by being seated in the “Old Town Hall” and then you walk to one of the ships and board it. The rest of the tour is walking through a small museum, a 3D re-enactment and the Minute Man Theatre, gift shop).  EUSTIS ESTATE TOUR AND TEA. “Explore a rare surviving example of late nineteenth century architecture and design. 

Enjoy a delectable TEA after your tour. Shopping at QUINCY MARKET!  See street performers and try the wonderfully diverse ethnic foods available to you. There are 100 shops, carts and artisans that offer treasures for you to take home with you! Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. DINNER this evening at a local restaurant. Day 4 Check out of the Encore and enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant before heading home.
