"The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States and is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. It was designated as a National Monument in 1924  (Pedestal/crown access not included) . Ellis Island, The immigrant experience comes to life in this fascinating, world class museum. Walk the halls of the former processing station to discover the trials and triumphs of the people who passed through the Golden Door. Audio tour included. The Statue of Liberty Museum has three interactive galleries that tell the statue's history in thought-provoking ways. Each gallery is designed to inspire visitors. Food vendors available on both islands for lunch on your own. Each person must pass through Security (similar to airport security)

Package includes motor coach transportation, ferry service to and from each island, audio tour admission to all three museums, driver's gratuity and trip leader.
