Meet the beauty of the Stowe, Vermont, area at von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort. The vacation resort sits on 2,600 acres with stunning mountain views during any season. CHECK INTO your rooms before DINNER at the Lodge. The next morning awake to a FULL VERMONT HOT AND COLD BREAKFAST BUFFET at the hotel.. Begin aday of touring with a drive through STOWE, Vermont hearing commentary from your guide. You will be taking ROUTE 100 at times today, meandering through Vermont and hearing interesting stories and tidbits. See the oldest COVERED in Stowe. You will have time in Stowe for a DOWNTOWN HISTORY WALK of STOWE and just enough free time to visit the shops. Enjoy a yummy stop at BEN AND JERRY’S FACTORY TOUR. “The tour includes a company history video, a view of our production room and explanation of our manufacturing process followed by a stop in the Flavoroom for a sample to delight your taste buds!” BOX LUNCH included at COLD HOLLOW CIDER MILL to see a demonstration of how cider is made. It is difficult to walk out of this gift shop without buying something and you will be surprised to find that it hosts an incredible variety of foods made from apples. MID AFTERNOON ARRIVAL back at the LODGE to relax. Tea and Cookies in the afternoon at the Trapp Lodge (3:00 – 4:00 pm)  You will have DINNER at the BIERHALL tonight, “a little of Austria, a lot of Vermont,” serving fresh lager beers and a selection of freshly prepared Austrian dinner selections. ON the last day enjoy a FULL VERMONT HOT AND COLD BREAKFAST BUFFET at the hotel. Before checking out you will partake in CUP CAKE DECORATING. “Learn how to decorate your own Highland cow and sheep cupcakes. You will leave with 2 cupcakes, one vanilla and one chocolate. Depart for home. Make a stop at YANKEE CANDLE FLAGSHIP STORE. Arrive for shopping and lunch on your own. It’s always Christmas Time at the Bavarian Christmas Village. Your adventure continues in the Black Forest on to the Village Square past the waterfall beside the moat over the drawbridge to the Nutcracker Castle. After that you must definitely visit Santa’s Toy Factory.
